Thing 10
I liked BigHugeLabs. It's right up my alley. I love to make collages and mosaics and whatnot. I think this could be very useful for school work.
Thing 9

I chose this picture because I have a slight obsession with Lady Gaga. I think flickr.com could be very helpful for school and business because it is exccessable from anywhere.
Thing 8
I found the wiki concept interesting because I had never done it before. Wiki makes me a bit nervous though because people could put false information on it and without you knowing, you could use that information for something important. I think a school calendar edited by only teachers and administration would be a good idea. That way, you know what all is going on in the school and are able to have updates sent to an email if you wish. I think that teachers that ban wikipedia as a valid source are smart because like I said earlier, if you use false information as a source, you don't have proper validation.

Thing 6
Digg can be beneficial for projects and school because if a person is taking an english or journalism class, it would be a good place to go to find news stories to write about.
Thing 7
Thing 7 is a solution to so many people's problems-- especially mine! I feel like I can never keep track of all my documents. Wish I would have known about this earlier!! I decided to go with Google Docs because it was easy to access. I would have liked to go with Dropbox, but it required a download.
Thing 5
I decided to get a Plurk because I don't like Twitter. I don't think I like it because I haven't gotten the hang of it yet. I think sites like these are good to have because it gives you a sense of identity. To have a blog or a website, it lets people say what they want and not necessarily get criticized for their opinion. It also gives others a chance to tell you what they think. Like thing 4, I think having this could be beneficial, especially for networking and future employers.
Thing 4
I already had a Facebook before I came across this step, but then again.. I'm guessing just about everyone does. Facebook is a very beneficial thing to have because it helps build networks. One specific benefit that I get from Facebook is that as a graphic design major, posting my art work makes it public to everyone, thus giving employers a chance at seeing my potential and passion at what I do.
Thing 3
I like having myaicampus.com because it's an easy way to access teachers, other peers and advisors. I frequently get emails about updates from my advisors letting me know about current events. If I didn't get these emails, I would never know about anything going on at the school. Another thing I like about myaicampus.com is that its also easy to access grades and other resources through the school.
Thing 2
I like the RRS because it is very convenient. With a job, school, social life and all the hectic events in my daily life, this made things much easier on me. I like that I can put this to good use. I feel that I could use it not only for my social life, but for school as well. If I find sites that would be of help to a project that I am working on I could use RRS. I think that teachers could use something to this sort because you can access it from anywhere. One teacher I currently have uses something similar to this and its beneficial to both myself as a student and the teacher as well.
Thing 1
I've never made my own blog, so this was very new to me. To my surprise it was much easier than I expected. I didn't enjoy how much time it took, but I think now that I have the first thing done, it will go much smoother for the steps to come.
